This map shows how close their church was. It is where Bryan was baptized. The Hospital was in the same area also, both Bryan and Kelly were born there. We lived in New Minden at the time and drove back here because that was where Letha's doctor was. When we sold our 9th home property in New Minden, we moved temporally also to this area, the 10th home. Then moved to Mascoutah for cheaper diggings.

Arriving at Swansea on the 2002 trip, they drove into the mobil court and were astonished to see how the trees had grown. In 1965 there were none. They turned down Bills Drive and there was a guy working on his motor home, see in photo, and Vern talked to him said he used to live there. Then Vern mentioned about the murder next door and the guy said Oh No! that was on the next street. They guy had only lived there six months and the story is still alive. He was right, Vern was on the wrong street, Rocky Drive is next street.
