| On Sunday, the 22nd, Vern and Letha left Hutchison, 53 mile back, to center of Wichita. They traveled a back road through Andale just to enter the city in a different way. Notice that Wichita is 870 feet higher in elevation than Topeka, or a gradual up-hill road all the way.
