I grew up in
Hays, Ks. which is a hop,
skip, and jump from Wa Keeney. As a kid, I can remember some dust
storms just like this come "rolling in" occasionally. Those
weren't the "dust bowl" days, but they were quite an event to
experience.For anyone who didn't
have to live thru the dirt storm last Saturday, here are some pictures
that a local woman
took around the Colby/Wakeeney area. Amazing! This is in North
West part of State.
