view is from the Best Western Motel where we stayed May 17th. The Log Cabin
Restaurant can just be see at the right edge of the photo where we were
served a very good dinner. Vern had two Veal Cutlets. This was our
jump off point to see Devils Tower.
The mountain is Sundance Mountain, where legend has it, the Sioux indians did their sun dance. The Sundance Kid, (Harry Longabaugh) was convicted of stealing a horse and spent eighteen months in jail in Sundance, the county seat of Crook County. After his incarceration in Sundance, he took on the alias of the Sundance Kid. |
