PINEAPPLE on Oahu
The Cannery is located  just North of  ALOHA TOWER - The FIELDS are North of WAHIAWA
After tour we noticed Hilo Hattie's - right across the street.    VIDEO: CANNING HISTORY
The trucks arrive in area marked on photo above. Pineapples are washed and hit the belts.
The Pineapples come in and drop in trimming machine


The core was cut out too!
Preparing for canning
Canning occurs in various forms
The canning is accomplised the same way peaches
are canned back in Vern's home town.
His mother and he have both worked there.
